Several trips have taken place to Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour in Tasmania's remote south-west. The first visit was during a trip from Strahan down the West Coast, the South Coast, and on to Hobart. Another short visit took place in 1984, when we shipped our kayaks in, and then paddled them out to Recherche Bay. Christmas 1988 saw another quick nine day trip, paddling both ways.
